Our Compositek Construction Challenge
These three sidewall samples (2 from Evergreen and 1 from a competitor) were placed in an aquarium on February 9, 2010.
The sample on the left is how the Everlite wall sample looked after roughly 7 months of sitting in water. The picture on the right is how it originally looked. No signs of any Delamination, Mold, Rot or Algae.
The second sample was from the floor of an Everlite (left) and how it originally looked (right). No signs of any Delamination, Mold, Rot or Algae.
The final sample was from a competitors product. Notice the Black Mold and Rot on the Luan Wood Paneling and the Algae growing on the Styrofoam.
From the picture above, we can see that the siding is peeling away from the insulation (left) on the Competitors sample that's been submerged in water.
The competitors product even left Mold and Algae on the bottom of the tank in only a couple of weeks.
All 3 of these samples have been in the same tank at the same time and continue to be in this tank in our showroom. Stop in and check it out.
